About Bidwell Wildlife Rehabilitation

Picture
BWR was founded in 1973 by a local vet from Paradise, CA, and several Chico State students who initially rescued, treated, and released native raptors. We were known as Bidwell Nature Center then, but eventually became Bidwell Wildlife Rehabilitation. We are the only permitted wildlife rehabilitation group in Butte County, and we treat small mammals, reptiles, and raptors in Butte, Colusa, and Glenn Counties.

We are a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN #85-4282014).
